After losing to Owensboro the last time they met, Henderson County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Henderson County Colonels took down the Owensboro Red Devils 73-56 on Friday. Given the Colonels' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Red Devils are ranked 120th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Henderson County is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. Owensboro's loss dropped their record down to 11-15.

Henderson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Owensboro, they will challenge Daviess County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
