Bangor and Palisades are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Slaters will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pirates at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bangor will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Things were looking good for Bangor after they put the first runs on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Salisbury Township.

Nolan Koza was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. That run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Alex Farensbach, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Palisades entered their tilt with Marian Catholic on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let Marian Catholic get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory.

Palisades pushed their record up to 4-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Bangor, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1.

Everything went Bangor's way against Palisades when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Bangor made off with a 12-2 win. Do the Slaters have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
