Washington has gone 9-1 against Dunlap recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Washington Panthers will face off against the Dunlap Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Washington challenged Plainfield South on Saturday. Washington lost to Plainfield South on the road by a 50-35 margin.

Meanwhile, Dunlap didn't have quite enough to beat Wheaton-Warrenville South on Saturday and fell 53-51. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 246th, while the Tigers are ranked 93rd).

Dunlap's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Washington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Washington couldn't quite finish off Dunlap when the teams last played back in February of 2024 and fell 39-37. Can Washington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
