Portola had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles.

Portola's victory bumped their record up to 8-3-1. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1.

Portola wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Fullerton on the 30th. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, they will take on Sage Hill at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
