For the Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 58-40 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

East Central was led to victory by Brody Howard and Zane Ramassini. Howard shot 55% from beyond the arc to rack up 29 points, while Ramassini dropped a double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds.
