It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Woodmont had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Greenville Red Raiders. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 17 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Woodmont, bringing their record up to 22-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Greenville, they now have a losing record of 12-13-1.

As of now, neither Woodmont nor the Red Raiders have any future games scheduled.
