Baseball Recap: Senatobia Takes a Loss

Senatobia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the South Panola Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 14-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Senatobia's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for South Panola, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-7 record.

Coming up, Senatobia is taking a road trip to square off against Byhalia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Panola, they will host Grenada at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grenada's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so South Panola's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
