Gilbert won the last time they faced Airport and things went their way on Monday too. The Indians came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 7-5. Cade Hopp was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The win made it two in a row for Gilbert and bumps their season record up to 7-10-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those two matchups. As for Airport, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Looking ahead, Gilbert will square off against Aiken at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Aiken's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Airport, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against Pelion on the 29th.
