Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Apollo Ridge). They blew past the St. Joseph Spartans 59-38 on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Vikings as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Apollo Ridge's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. As for St. Joseph, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Apollo Ridge and Steel Valley will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. Considering Steel Valley has lost three straight at home and Apollo Ridge three straight on the road , this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum. As for St. Joseph, they will be home for the holidays to greet Environmental Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
