Basketball Recap: Augustine Prep Comes Up Short

Augustine Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the West Allis Central Bulldogs at home by a 46-28 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 88-53 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

Augustine Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for West Allis Central, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Augustine Prep will venture away from home to square off against South Milwaukee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Allis Central and Brown Deer will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
