Recap: Archbishop Carroll Bulldogs vs. Ransom Everglades Raiders
The Archbishop Carroll Bulldogs had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.2 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 35-13 margin over Ransom Everglades. Considering Archbishop Carroll has won six matches by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Archbishop Carroll got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alejandro Isaza out in front who rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Another player making a difference was Ryan Castro, who rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries.
Archbishop Carroll's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 41 points. As for Ransom Everglades, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-1.
Archbishop Carroll will square off against Palmer Trinity at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Andres Williams and Isaza. As for Ransom Everglades, they will face off against Coral Shores at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
