Basketball Game Preview: Whitehall Railroaders vs. Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians

The Whitehall Railroaders and the Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Whitehall has four straight victories, Waterford-Halfmoon has 16 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Whitehall is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Berlin/New Lebanon to the tune of 59-3 on Friday. The Railroaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 46-16, which was the final score in Waterford-Halfmoon's tilt against Cambridge last Thursday.

Waterford-Halfmoon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Whitehall, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
