Baseball Recap: Scranton Prep Cavaliers vs. Delaware Valley Warriors
If Scranton Prep was feeling good fresh off their 13-2 takedown of Honesdale last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cavaliers came up short against the Delaware Valley Warriors on Wednesday, falling 15-6. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.
Ben Toczydlowski and Raphael Thomas stepped up to the plate in a big way. Toczydlowski went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI, while Thomas scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. That RBI was Toczydlowski's first of the season.
Scranton Prep now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Delaware Valley, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
