Taft picked up another tournament win on Sunday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 65-64 victory over the Montgomery County Indians. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Senators.

Montgomery County's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Terry, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Dawson Gentry was another key player, shooting 4-for-5 from downtown and almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.

Taft is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Montgomery County, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Taft wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-47 win against Withrow on the 27th. As for Montgomery County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-55 victory against St. Mary on the 27th.
