Softball Recap: Morton Takes a Loss

Morton lost against Greene County on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers lost 22-4 to the Wildcats. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Morton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Halie Havard, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Morton's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Greene County, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-7.

As of now, neither Morton nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
