McLane fell victim to Hoover and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 10-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Highlanders in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost seven in a row.

McLane now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Hoover, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.

While McLane had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
