Volleyball Recap: Higley's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Higley had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Queen Creek Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

Higley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-19, 25-17, 25-15.

Leading Higley to victory were Ivy Schmidt and Kylie Sherrill. Schmidt had 12 digs and two aces, while Sherrill had seven digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Sherrill a new career-high in kills (four).

They weren't the only good servers: Higley was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive contests.

Higley's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Queen Creek, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Higley has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Desert Ridge on the 25th. As for Queen Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Highland on the 25th.
