Softball Recap: Ambassador Christian School Comes Up Short

Ambassador Christian School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors, falling 20-1.

Ambassador Christian School saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chapel Simpson, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Tessa Riddle was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases.

Ambassador Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ambassador Christian School will square off against Forsyth Home Educators at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, they will take on Gaston Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
