Van won the last time they faced Greenville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Vandals came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lions, sneaking past 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vandals.

Van had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-23, 25-18.

Van's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Greenville, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Van will venture away from home to challenge Bullard at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenville, they will head out to square off against Caddo Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
