Softball Game Preview: Triway Titans vs. Orrville Red Riders

For the second straight game, Triway will face off against Orrville. The Titans will take on the Red Riders at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Triway is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.1 runs per game this season.

Triway's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Orrville with a sharp 19-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Red Riders: they've now won nine in a row.

Lexi Long was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. Long was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

In other batting news, Myah Lester was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Hochstetler, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
