Soccer Recap: Conrad Comes Up Short

After flying high against Carter last Saturday, Conrad came back down to earth. The Conrad Chargers took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kimball Knights on Saturday. If the Chargers were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to them when the teams met back in March of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 5-3-1. As for Kimball, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Coming up, Conrad will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Madison at 6:30 p.m. Conrad is facing Madison at the right time seeing as Madison is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Kimball, they will head out to challenge Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Kimball's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last six matchups.
