Seneca is 9-1 against Pendleton since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Seneca Bobcats will host the Pendleton Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Seneca has four straight victories, Pendleton has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Monday, Seneca strolled past Walhalla with points to spare, taking the game 71-54.

Seneca's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Stu Finley led the charge by putting up 14 points in addition to five assists and five boards. Another player making a difference was Clark Finley, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, Pendleton scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 71-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of Franklin County. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bulldogs came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 104th in South Carolina, while the Lions are ranked 256th in Georgia).

Seneca pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Pendleton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Seneca strolled past Pendleton in their previous matchup on Thursday by a score of 72-54. Will Seneca repeat their success, or does Pendleton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
