With a playoff win on the line, Rock Canyon rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Frederick Golden Eagles. The victory was familiar territory for the Jaguars, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Amari Clark paced Rock Canyon's offense, picking up 16 kills. Clark got some help from Rachel Christensen and her 16 assists. Elena Paz and Gianna Blanco kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Rock Canyon's win bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Frederick, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.

Coincidentally, Rock Canyon and Frederick will both be playing Erie the next time they take the court. The Golden Eagles will head out to face the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Jaguars will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
