Chester has gone a perfect 5-0 against Great Falls recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Chester Cyclones will face off against the Great Falls Red Devils at 7:10 p.m.

Chester came up short against Rock Hill two weeks ago, falling 20-6.

Meanwhile, Great Falls entered their tilt with Richland Northeast on Monday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Cavaliers 15-5. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won three matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Trenton Trotter made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-4. Those stolen bases marked the first that he snagged this season.

In other batting news, Great Falls got a massive performance out of Kamden Wood, who went 2-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. With that strong performance, Wood is now averaging an impressive 3.2 RBI per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelby Brantley, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Chester took their win against Great Falls in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 13-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chester since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
