            For the second straight game, Trinity will face off against Eastern Randolph. The Bulldogs will host the Wildcats  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
Trinity headed into their last  matchup having not scored more than two  runs for three straight, but Eastern Randolph let them put that streak behind them. The Bulldogs blew past the Wildcats 14-3 on Tuesday. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
For Eastern Randolph's part,  Cade McCallum was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  six innings while giving up  five earned runs off   five  hits. McCallum has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  RBI.
 McCallum wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Bryson Marley, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs. Marley is becoming a predictor of Eastern Randolph's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is 4-1 (and 7-10 when he doesn't).
 Trinity's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Eastern Randolph, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record  this season.
