Carrollton barely beat Minerva the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Lions on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on five straight.

Carrollton pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Minerva, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Looking ahead, Carrollton will look to defend their home field on Thursday against West Branch at 5:00 p.m. Minerva will be paying especially close attention to the Warriors' matchup: after the Warriors face off against the Warriors, they'll take on Minerva again at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
