Cooper City and Everglades are an even 4-4 against one another  since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Cooper City Cowboys will head out to  face off against the Everglades Gators  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Cooper City can't be to happy about their upcoming road  game considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home  on Monday. They fell just short of Monarch by a score of  6-5.
Cooper City got a good showing from  Nicholas Potter, who   didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits over four innings pitched.
 At the plate,  Adrian Graterol made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. What's more,  he also racked up two  hits, the most he's  had since back in April of 2024.  Aiden Pitti- Shortt was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Everglades was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They came up short against  Chaminade-Madonna, falling  11-5.
 Everglades saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Alex Ramirez, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Cooper City suffered a grim  9-3 defeat to Everglades  when the teams last played  back in April of 2024. Can Cooper City avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
