Aiden Pitti- Shortt was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Everglades was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Chaminade-Madonna, falling 11-5.

Everglades saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Ramirez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
