Football Game Recap: Athens vs. Augusta

After having lost a blowout to Rib Lake-Prentice in their previous game, Athens was happy to find some success on Friday. Athens strolled past Augusta with points to spare, taking the game 40-22. The success represented a nice turnaround for Athens, who in their last game suffered a tough 6-28 loss.

The win got Athens back to even at 1-1. The defeat dropped Augusta's record to 0-2.

Next week, Athens take on Thorp at 7:00 PM. As for Augusta, they will face of against Cochrane-Fountain City.
