Bishop Foley's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against Everest Collegiate as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Ventures not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0).

While Bishop Foley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-23, 25-21.

Mary LoBue paced Bishop Foley's offense, picking up ten kills. LoBue got some help from Mary Maltese and her 17 assists. LoBue was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Bishop Foley has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-13-1 record this season. As for Everest Collegiate, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-5-2.

Looking ahead, Bishop Foley will take on Croswell-Lexington in a tournament on Saturday. As for Everest Collegiate, they will be taking part in a tournament against Regina at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
