League recap: Dorchester Academy rises in rankings with win

Dorchester Academy made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,362 from 12,798. The advance stemmed from a 35-7 victory over Holly Hill Academy last week.

Bible Baptist led SCISA A Region I in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on Northwood Academy. Keynnard Campbell threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 250 yards in the win.

Bible Baptist's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Braves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Campbell has thrown for 2261 yards and 23 touchdowns this season, while Luke Long has 34 catches for 683 yards. Campbell also leads the league in rushing with 1142 yards.

St. Andrew's's Wright Wallace is a mere 91 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. Wallace has rushed for 909 yards on 172 carries so far this year.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Braves take on the Raiders. As it stands, Bible Baptist is in first, while Holly Hill Academy is in fifth.
