Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Lansingburgh). They put the hurt on the La Salle Institute Cadets with a sharp  17-8 victory on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their one-run performance the  game before.
 Guiliana Patregnani was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out 12 batters over  seven innings while giving up  six earned  (and two unearned) runs off   12  hits. She also  tossed six  walks, marking her first of the season. She was even better at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances. Those  two  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news, Lansingburgh got a  massive  performance out of  Anna Patregnani, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-5. That's the most  runs  Patregnani has posted since back in April of 2024.  Taylor Moran was another key player,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in five of her six plate appearances.
 Lansingburgh  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .565. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Lansingburgh's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for La Salle Institute,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-4.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lansingburgh is set to  take on  their familiar foe Voorheesville  at 12:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, La Salle Institute will  square off against  rival Mohonasen  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
