Soccer Recap: Amador Valley Takes a Loss

Amador Valley's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dougherty Valley Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Dons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 631st, while the Wildcats are ranked 31st).

Amador Valley has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11-6 record this season. As for Dougherty Valley, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2-2.

Amador Valley wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Foothill on the 6th. As for Dougherty Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 6-2 victory against Dublin on the 6th.
