Soccer Recap: Fairfax Makes It Seven in a Row on the Road

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Fairfax walked away with it. They had just enough and edged the Metro Tech Knights out 3-2 on Friday. The Stampede's winning goal came courtesy of Fernando Ciarrochi.

Fairfax pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those seven matches. As for Metro Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.

Fairfax wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 5-1 defeat against Arizona College Prep on the 19th. Metro Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
