It was a good run, but Clifton unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Pearl City Chargers by a score of 2-1.

Brystel Wise paced Clifton's offense, picking up 12 kills. Wise got some help from Madison Otter and her 32 assists. Taliyha Davenport controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Clifton's defeat dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Pearl City, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Clifton will square off against Blum at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pearl City, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Mililani at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Chargers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
