Baseball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Horace

Horace came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over the Valley City Hi-Liners. Considering Horace has won four contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Horace got a big performance out of Jett Collins, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That double was Collins' first of the season. Another player making a difference was Evan Krogen, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Horace hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive games.

Horace pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Valley City, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.
