Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Lincoln

Lincoln had won three straight games and Karson Komnick did his part to make it four on Friday. The Lincoln Railsplitters came out on top against the Mattoon Greenwave by a score of 43-30 thanks in part to Komnick, who posted 20 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Mattoon, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-17.

Lincoln has already played their next matchup (against Taylorville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mattoon has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Charleston.
