Basketball Recap: Laney Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Laney unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 53-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers on Tuesday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Musketeers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

While Laney had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
