It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but El Campo had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Jones Trojans. Considering the Ricebirds have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

El Campo is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Jones, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16-1.

As of now, neither El Campo nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
