Baseball Recap: Harding Comes Up Short

Harding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Geneva Eagles.

Harding's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Geneva, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Harding will face off against Howland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Geneva, they will square off against Edgewood at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
