Platteview has gone 9-1 against Arlington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Platteview Trojans will be taking part in a tournament against the Arlington Eagles at 1:00 p.m.
Last Thursday, Platteview lost to Malcolm on the road by a 59-40 margin. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Clippers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the loss, Platteview saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kady Vanosdall went 6 for 8 on her way to 13 points and five rebounds. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for Vanosdall. The team also got some help courtesy of Hadley Fahrenbruch, who posted seven points and seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Arlington waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 41-28 victory over the Warriors.
Platteview better keep an eye on Emerson Timm. She was instrumental in Arlington's win, putting up 19 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Timm has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Hailey O'Daniel, who had a point and 14 rebounds.
Arlington smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wahoo only pulled down six offensive boards.
Arlington's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points per game. As for Platteview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Platteview has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 27 boards per game. However, it's not like Arlington struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26.8 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
