Basketball Recap: West Caldwell Takes a Loss

West Caldwell lost against East Burke back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The West Caldwell Warriors took a 60-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Burke Cavaliers. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dautry Ragle had an outrageously good game for East Burke as he almost dropped a double-double with 28 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave Ragle a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Barger Shook, who went 5-for-9 en route to 12 points and eight boards.

West Caldwell's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for East Burke, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-13 record this season.

As of now, neither West Caldwell nor East Burke have any future games scheduled.
