Baseball Recap: Belton Comes Up Short

The matchup between Belton and Chaparral on Tuesday hardly resembled the 3-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Tigers came up short against the Bobcats, falling 15-4. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

This is the second loss in a row for Belton and nudges their season record down to 15-9. As for Chaparral, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-7-1.

While Belton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
