Softball Recap: Gilford Makes It 15 in a Row at Home

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gilford). They never let the Mascoma Royals get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Golden Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.

Gilford's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 10.0 runs this season. As for Mascoma, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Coming up, Gilford will welcome Raymond at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mascoma, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 16-4 defeat against Kearsarge on the 28th.
