Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Central Braves lost to the Ripley Warriors at home by a 54-39 margin. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Warriors are ranked 103rd).

Central has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Ripley, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-34 defeat against Rejoice Christian on the 24th. As for Ripley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 47-31 loss against Adair on the 24th.
