Football Recap: Grafton Beats Rugby for Their Third Straight Victory

Grafton put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 21-16 W against the Rugby Panthers. For the Spoilers, this counts as revenge for the 38-24 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Grafton's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Rugby, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Grafton will face off against Turtle Mountain on Friday. The Spoilers will be up against the Braves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 43.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Rugby, they will challenge Langdon/Edmore/Munich on Friday. Rugby will need to watch out since Langdon/Edmore/Munich has now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
