Basketball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside and Randall squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Riverside had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 91-51 loss at the hands of the Randall Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 765th, while the Raiders are ranked 53rd).

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Randall, the win was the 20th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 30-5.

Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Randall, they will square off against Brock on Monday. Brock will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Randall surely won't give up without a fight.
