Adrian is 8-2 against Channing since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Matadors will head out to challenge the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Neither Adrian nor Channing posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Adrian is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight games dating back to last season on December 2nd. They were outmatched by Claude and fell 56-21.

Meanwhile, Channing played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Bovina, falling 75-17. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-8.

Adrian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Channing, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Adrian barely slipped by Channing in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Matadors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
