Basketball Recap: Caedmon Bridges' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Quinter over Dighton

Quinter lost against Dighton back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Quinter Bulldogs took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dighton Hornets.

Quinter's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caedmon Bridges, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave Bridges a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shea S Salyers, who posted 13 points and eight rebounds.

It was another big night for Daniel Cramer, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points along with eight assists and six steals for Dighton. The game was Cramer's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Noah Roemer was another key player, going 5 of 8 on his way to 11 points.

Quinter's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Dighton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Quinter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 77-48 defeat against Hanover on the 11th. As for Dighton, they will challenge Wheatland-Grinnell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dighton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.5 points per game this season.
