Baseball Game Preview: Granite Bay Grizzlies vs. Oak Ridge Trojans

For the second straight game, Granite Bay will face off against Oak Ridge. The Grizzlies will face off against the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Granite Bay turned things around against Oak Ridge on Wednesday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Trojans.

Drew Galbaugh tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted over his last four matchups.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Andrew Jones, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Brenden Pops was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Granite Bay always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
