Bonita Vista has gone 9-1 against Eastlake recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Barons will be playing at home against the Titans at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Bonita Vista 1.8, Eastlake 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Bonita Vista is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Mater Dei Catholic on Friday. They fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Barons in their meetings with the Crusaders: they've now lost three in a row.

Kianna Balajadia-Brooks was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two triples and one run. Those triples were her first of the season.

Meanwhile, Eastlake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Mater Dei Catholic.

Mackenzie Olshenskie made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. Bryn Grayson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Eastlake's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8-1. As for Bonita Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 17-5.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Bonita Vista hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Eastlake struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
